Day 1 - 4
The establishment of Kambaku Safari Lodge began, as most things do, with a simple idea: that our most memorable moments are those we share with others.
Day 1
Day Notes:
Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be met for your road transfer to Kambaku Safari Lodge in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Once you arrive at the lodge, check-in, before setting out on your first afternoon game drive to begin your search for the animals, including the Big Five.

Shared afternoon game drive
Day 2 - 3
Day Notes:
The morning game drive starts at sunrise. You will wake up before dawn for tea and coffee before the game drive starts. Then, you are off for 3 hours to find as many animals as possible before they all find trees to hide under in the heat of the day.
When the game drive returns to the lodge, you will be served a delicious hot breakfast and have time to relax. You can sit by the pool, read a book, take a nap and absorb being out in the bush. If you prefer an activity-filled day, guided bush walks are on offer.
After high tea, the afternoon game drive will start and then you will return to the lodge for dinner.

Booking a safari isn't easy when you start with a google search. i sent out emails to five companies. Indigo's response time and follow up, alongside suggestions, were the best by far. They seemed committed to want to listen to what i wanted, not just what they had to offer. Despite booking nine months in advance, I really appreciated being given an email a month before the holiday to reconfirm everything. It's the thoughtful, small things like this that I felt set them apart. I would very much recommend them. The lodge they suggested was excellent, and exactly what we were looking for.

We stayed at the Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp in the Manyeleti Game Reserve which boarders without a fence to Kruger National Park. The location, camp and accommodations were superb. Michele, our Safari consultant did an outstanding job on understanding what we wanted. Her service and our Safari were perfect 10's!!
