Day 1 - 4
An African dream beckons – one that is defined by extraordinary scenery, an authentic atmosphere and warm hospitality. Guests arrive as visitors and leave as friends. This is Motswari Private Game Reserve, a family-owned and operated luxury safari lodge. Here, majestic creatures, including the Big Five, offer incredible viewing opportunities as they bask in their natural habitat. Motswari means “to conserve and protect” in Tswana and that is what the reserve aims to do.
Day 1
Day Notes:
Transfer time: ~95 minutes
You will be picked up at Hoedspruit airport and taken to Timbavati Private Game Reserve, where you will stay for 3 nights at Motswari. Afternoon shared safari activity (time permitting).

Day 2 - 3
Day Notes:
The morning game drive starts at sunrise. You will be woken up before sunrise for tea and coffee before the game drive starts. Then you are off for 3 hours to find as many animals as possible before they all find trees to hide under in the heat of the day.
When the game drive returns to the lodge, you will be served a big cooked breakfast and have time to relax. You can sit by the pool, read a book, take a nap and just absorb being out in the bush.
The afternoon game drive will start around 16:00, after high tea. It will last for +-3 hours, with a stop somewhere for sundowners. You will return to the lodge in the dark, with a spotlight to look for nocturnal animal.

Excellent game drives with knowledgeable guides in both Rufiji River Camp in Selous (Nyerere National Park ) and Ruaha River Lodge in Ruaha National Park. I can't say enough about the attentive camp managers, comfortable accommodations and exceptional food in both camps.

Booking a safari isn't easy when you start with a google search. i sent out emails to five companies. Indigo's response time and follow up, alongside suggestions, were the best by far. They seemed committed to want to listen to what i wanted, not just what they had to offer. Despite booking nine months in advance, I really appreciated being given an email a month before the holiday to reconfirm everything. It's the thoughtful, small things like this that I felt set them apart. I would very much recommend them. The lodge they suggested was excellent, and exactly what we were looking for.

We stayed at the Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp in the Manyeleti Game Reserve which boarders without a fence to Kruger National Park. The location, camp and accommodations were superb. Michele, our Safari consultant did an outstanding job on understanding what we wanted. Her service and our Safari were perfect 10's!!
Sabi Sand Private Kruger Reserve Safari
Indigo recommended several options for our trip, and we finally decided on Umkumbe Bush Lodge for our 3 night safari - it was an incredible unforgettable experience, the lodge itself was wonderful with great amenities, excellent food/drinks, and great tour guides. We saw all of the big 5 along with countless other wildlife, and I would highly recommend the whole experience.
