Located in the heart of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, Tanda Tula Safari Camp offers an intimate and luxurious safari experience. With just nine hybrid canvas-and-glass suites, including two family suites, guests enjoy exclusivity and a deep connection to the wilderness. Each suite features sliding glass doors, canvas walls, and a private deck with a plunge pool, seamlessly blending contemporary elegance with nature.

Day Notes:
Upon landing at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be met and transferred to Tanda Tula Safari Camp, where you will have time to freshen up before going out on your first shared afternoon game drive.

Shared afternoon game drive
Day 2 - 3
Day Notes:
The morning game drive starts at sunrise. You will be woken up before sunrise for tea and coffee before the game drive starts. Then you are off for 3 hours to find as many animals as possible before they all find trees to hide under in the heat of the day.
When the game drive returns to the lodge, you will be served a big cooked breakfast and have time to relax. You can sit by the pool, read a book, take a nap and just absorb being out in the bush.
The afternoon game drive will start around 16:00, after high tea. It will last for +-3 hours, with a stop somewhere for sundowners. You will return to the lodge in the dark, with a spotlight to look for nocturnal animal.

Booking a safari isn't easy when you start with a google search. i sent out emails to five companies. Indigo's response time and follow up, alongside suggestions, were the best by far. They seemed committed to want to listen to what i wanted, not just what they had to offer. Despite booking nine months in advance, I really appreciated being given an email a month before the holiday to reconfirm everything. It's the thoughtful, small things like this that I felt set them apart. I would very much recommend them. The lodge they suggested was excellent, and exactly what we were looking for.
