Itinerary

Ndutu, Tanzania

Set in the Arusha Region, Ndutu is situated in the northern part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area within the magnificent Serengeti. The surrounding landscapes are covered in sweeping grasslands which provide the perfect habitat for the migratory route for hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, antelope and zebra. Visitors can look forward to exploring the forest around Lake Ndutu, spotting an array of wildlife, and visiting the fascinating archaeological site at the Olduvai Gorge. Don’t miss the opportunity to jump on a game drive to view the spectacular herds of the annual Great Migration, enjoy a scenic hot air balloon ride over the plains and take a guided tour with the local Maasai and learn about culture and traditions. Other commonly spotted species include: leopard, lion, cheetah, caracal, serval, African wildcat, and a variety of prolific birdlife.

Tanzania – Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Our safari in Tanzania was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived at Serengeti National Park, everything was fantastic — the camp was perfect, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The warm welcome, enthusiasm, attention, and constant smiles from everyone made our stay even more special.

At Tarangire, we once again enjoyed excellent service, a beautiful tent, and wonderful hospitality. Everything was perfectly organized. We were still delighted with our stay and overall experience.

From start to finish, the trip went smoothly and was perfectly managed. For a first safari in Tanzania, it was an incredible success. Thank you, Christopher, and the entire team for making this such a memorable adventure!

Tanzania – 7-day Taste of the North Safari

Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater & Tarangire combined Safari
Dickson our driver is a true gentleman and has been driving Safari trips for over 20 years. His knowledge about animals and the Reserves is hard gained and invaluable.
Other Safari drivers acknowledged him everywhere we went and it is obvious he is well respected. The descent into the crater is steep and takes driving skills. We again saw a lot of wildlife within the crater. The lodge at Tarangire is to die for. Wow the views worth the whole safari trip.

Would I book with Indigo Safaris again. 110%. Another country and another experience.
