Manyoni Private Game Reserve, South Africa

Resting in the Msunduzi Valley in the heart of Zululand, the Manyoni Private Game Reserve lies in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal. It boasts excellent game viewing opportunities, rich cultural traditions, and significant conservation efforts. It was established when a group of private landowners partnered with the WWF and Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife to remove all internal fences and today it stretches over 23 000 hectares of magnificent African bushveld. This private reserve is home to a wide selection of wildlife including a variety of endangered species and the world-renowned Big Five. The area’s vast range of diverse habitats allows the reserve to support an array of wildlife species while also attracting an abundant variety of birdlife. Providing a safe haven to over 70 mammal species, Manyoni is home to impressive populations of giraffe, kudu, nyala, wildebeest, zebra and much more.

South Africa – KwaZulu-Natal Bush and Beach

There are only positive things to say about our trip to Rhino lodge and St Lucia: the accommodation was top quality, great food, a very well organised trip and the staff were very helpful.
We saw rhinos, some lions, wild dogs, plenty of different antelope. Plus giraffes, which we got to walk amongst in the veld.
Overall, it was a very special experience for my companions and myself.

Amazing trip

Nambiti Game Reserve, South Africa

This was an amazing trip that we simply would not have found had it not been for Indigo Safaris. From the initial enquiry right through to booking and post trip, they were a delight to deal with. Wow! What a place. Just three hours from Durban, this was an amazing safari. It was just the perfect blend of super organised, yet relaxed, great animal watching (but very much still wild); lovely food (and plenty of it). And the ambience was one of enjoyment in a premium setting. not luxury and stand-offish. Everything just worked, from 1pm arrival to 10am leaving three days later, we were looked after by real people doing a great job.

Highlight of the year

SOUTH AFRICA – SABI SAND SAFARI & GARDEN ROUTE SELF-DRIVE ADVENTURE

My husband and I travelled to South Africa recently and was looking for someone with hands on experience to help with organising/booking our trip. We came across Indigo Safaris and specifically dealt with Ines who was amazing. They run a very professional efficient business, replying within 24 hrs (even though we are in Australia and they Seychelles). All our bookings etc were fantastic and very much to our liking everything ran very smoothly and would not hesitate in using Indigo Safaris (Ines) again and highly recommend anyone else to use them.

Cannot fault Indigo Safaris - highly recommend

South Africa – Cape Town, Greater Kruger Honeymoon

Working with Ines at Indigo Safaris was an absolute dream! From start to finish, the entire planning process was seamless, stress-free, and truly exciting. This was our first time using a travel agent or tour operator, and we were a bit skeptical at first—but Ines quickly put all our worries to rest. Her flexibility, attention to detail, and genuine care turned our South African honeymoon dreams into reality. Plus she was quick to respond!

She worked within our budget, tailored everything to our preferences, and made planning our Cape Town + Safari adventure so effortless and fun. Every moment of the trip exceeded our expectations—we seriously can’t stop raving about it!

We’ve already started recommending Indigo Safaris to friends and family who are considering a safari. If you’re on the fence—just do it. Booking with Ines was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our honeymoon. We’re beyond grateful!!!

Manyeleti Game Reserve perfect stay

We stayed at the Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp in the Manyeleti Game Reserve which boarders without a fence to Kruger National Park. The location, camp and accommodations were superb. Michele, our Safari consultant did an outstanding job on understanding what we wanted. Her service and our Safari were perfect 10's!!
