Located in the untouched NG35 concession of Botswana’s Greater Okavango region, Losika Elephant Camp offers an immersive safari experience rooted in authenticity and natural beauty. This is a destination designed for travelers seeking meaningful encounters with wildlife, culture, and the raw splendour of the African bush—all while offering outstanding value. Surrounded by diverse ecosystems, the area teems with elephants, hippos, buffalo, and prolific birdlife. The lagoon, nourished by the Gomoti Channel, is a constant source of life and activity, offering ever-changing scenes of nature in motion.
Day 1
Day Notes:
After arrival in Maun, you will be met and taken to Losika Elephant Park in the Moremi Game Reserve by road, where you will spend the next 3 nights. After settling in, you will enjoy a shared afternoon safari activity, if time allows.

Day 4 - 7
Saguni Safari Lodge is situated in Moremi East in the Okavango Delta. It is nestled in an island of mature riparian trees, typical of the Okavango Delta. The Lodge overlooks the ‘Mbudi Lagoon’, in the beautiful game-rich area of Khwai. The name ‘Saguni’ is a bushman name for Khwai, meaning “an area with abundance of game and spectacular sights”
Day 4
Day Notes:
After your last shared morning activity (time permitting) and breakfast, before you will head on to Khwai by helicopter! Enjoy the scenic views whilst flying low over the game rich areas - maybe you even get to see some wildlife from the air. From the local airstrip, you will be met and transferred to Saguni Safari Lodge, where you will stay for another 3 nights. Settle in and then enjoy a shared afternoon safari activity.

Botswana photographic safari – Moremi, Khwai, Savuti, Chobe, Nxai Pan
Coming out of our life in our luxury UAE bubble to 1 vehicle for 2 weeks with 3 nationalities and 5 people/personalities, making this a rewarding exploration of Botswana could have been a challenge in itself.
Catering for individual needs in a group is a challenge that Christopher masters whilst at the same time multitasking as a patient driver, amazing chef & experienced field guide with us the guests helping pitch tents, prepping veg & doing the dishes.
Being in the lush green Okavango Delta with amazing campfire dinners to break the ice set the expectations for the game drives and camping in Moremi, Savuti, Chobe, Vic Falls and Nxai Pan.

Ines was very professional and patient with all the setbacks my family faced not only with COVID issues but also with finding dates and availability of our travelers. Dealing with airline cancellations and Covid testing was challenging even until departure. We could not have traveled so "easily" under the circumstances without her!

Matt at Indigo Safaris arranged a fantastic trip for us! He was so helpful; willing to investigate every crazy request and answer every question :)
We experienced a wide range of habitats, from delta to desert, and saw the Big 5 plus so much more. A highlight of the trip was something we’d never heard of until Matt suggested it - a night sleeping under the African sky on an open 2-story platform, alongside a waterhole visited by lions, elephants, and other wild creatures throughout the night. The stars were absolutely magical!
All the internal flights arrived like clockwork. We were delighted with the intimate “mid-range” camps we chose with Matt’s advice. Each of them was very comfortable, employed lovely staff, offered good food, and had prompt laundry service. One of the best features of our trip was having close-up encounters with elephants and other animals as they roamed through these small camps.
We followed up our adventure with a stay at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, and it was the perfect touch of luxury after our time in the bush.
We’ve enjoyed previous safaris in Tanzania, Kenya, and the Pantanal Wetlands of Brazil, and we were delighted that Matt and Indigo were able to provide such a totally different experience for us. Would love to work with them again someday!
