Etosha South, Namibia

Located just south of the boundary of Etosha National Park in northwestern Namibia, Etosha South makes up the southern region of this wild paradise. The area is comprised of a collection of world class private game reserves. The national park can be accessed via the southern entrance at Andersson’s Gate. Visitors can catch a glimpse of a variety of wildlife including: lion, giraffe, elephant, white and black rhino, and a multitude of plains game. Popular activities include: enjoying an open 4x4 safari with an expert guide, half day or full day drives with the option of a picnic lunch with wine on the full day game drive.

Day 1

Day Notes:

You will be collected from the Windhoek Truckport at 07:00am by the shuttle service. Look out for a vehicle which says Go 2 Namibia on it. You will head north towards Okahandja. We stop briefly at the small town of Otjiwarongo, which is a thriving little town built on many aspects, mining and agriculture being the most important. We then drive to Outjo, which is the home of many tourist attractions and has a strong agricultural community. Then we enter Etosha National Park and arrive at our overnight accommodation at Etosha Safari Camp.

At ca. 14:00 pm, the Afternoon Half-Day Excursion to the Etosha National Park will start at reception. Duration of the tour is 5-6 hours. After the game drive, dinner will be ready.

Day 2

Day Notes:

Your Full-Day Excursion to the Etosha National Park will start ca. 30 minutes before sunrise. Please make sure to be at the reception in time. 

Be sure to pack sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, binoculars, and your camera. 

Full-Day Excursion to the Etosha National Park (guided): Explore the National Park and its amazing wildlife in a 24seater game vehicle. Refreshments, snacks, entrance fees to the National Park and passenger liability insurance are included. 

After returning from the game drive, dinner will be ready.
