Balule Private Game Reserve, South Africa

Situated in the Limpopo Province and forming part of the Greater Kruger National Park in northeastern South Africa, the Balule Private Game Reserve is known for its abundant free-roaming wildlife, fascinating birdlife and is home to the renowned Big Five, which includes lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard. While the big game is the undoubtable highlight of the reserve, visitors can also look forward to spotting an array of other African wildlife such as a variety of buck, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest and over 250 bird species living amongst the savannah, riverine forest and wooded mountains. Other popular activities include: boating down the Olifants River on an exciting water safari, visiting a cultural village, or horse riding, white water rafting and hot air ballooning through this spectacular landscape.

Ezulwini Billy's Lodge

Day 1 - 4

Ezulwini Billy’s Lodge is located on the banks of a seasonal river, surrounded by indigenous vegetation, with unparalleled views of the savanna and plains game of the Greater Kruger. This private safari lodge is nestled within the western savannah region of the Olifants West Nature Reserve where the resident lion prides often call out at night and adventure has no curfew.

Day 1

Day Notes:

You will be met on arrival at OR Tambo Airport for the road transfer to Ezulwini Billy's Lodge in Balule Private Game Reserve. Settle in and then join your first shared afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 2 - 3

Day Notes:

The next two mornings will start early with a shared morning game drive heading out into the bush in search of animals. You will be out on the game drive for approximately 3.5 hours before returning to the lodge for breakfast.

The next few hours are yours to relax at the pool with a good book, watch the world go by on one of the viewing decks, or enjoy some wine tasting in the cellar.

After lunch you will head out on the afternoon game drive and return for dinner after dark.
