Five-star restaurants alongside the cellars are surrounded by the same jaw-dropping valley scenes that have brought artists and writers to the area for centuries. A superb literary festival takes place around May every year, and, combined with the town’s Cape Dutch manor houses, fascinating museums, and charming boutiques, makes Franschhoek a wonderful place to visit in winter. 15-day Cape Town, Zimbabwe & Botswana Safari

I am a solo traveler, who was seeking a safe way to do some African safaris for the first time without a tour group. Indigo Safaris made suggestions and we created a trip based on my priorities. My accommodations in Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls and Botswana were unique, beautiful with good service and fabulous food! My guides were terrific. I literally felt like a princess, while at the lodges. When I needed assistance a couple of times, Indigo personnel were responsive to that.
I have travelled quite a lot, and this was one of the best trips I have taken. I believe that one of the strengths of Indigo Safaris is that the agents you work with are so experienced. They personally visit the destinations and accommodations before sending their clients there. So, for example, they knew, where I would see many elephants, which are my personal favorite wild animal, but fewer tourists.
I felt the cost of my trip was very fair and the trip cost included all of the land transfers and many of my meals. highly recommend Indigo Safaris for any sort of trip to Africa.

South Africa – 11-Day – Greater Kruger, Cape Town, Vinyards

I have travelled all over the world, and Indigo Safaris tops the list of all tour operators.
When I started to plan the trip to South Africa, I wanted it to be seamless, adventurous, enjoyable, educational, and delightful, and thanks to you, ALL MY WISHES WERE GRANTED! You gave Mark the most complete and wonderful 60th birthday possible, and I thank you.

Please accept my deepest gratitude for understanding my requests and for attending to them so meticulously and appropriately. You kept me informed of your planning and sent me such detailed updates. I never had an anxious moment. You and Indigo Safaris are the absolute best!

South Africa – Cape Town, Greater Kruger Honeymoon

Working with Ines at Indigo Safaris was an absolute dream! From start to finish, the entire planning process was seamless, stress-free, and truly exciting. This was our first time using a travel agent or tour operator, and we were a bit skeptical at first—but Ines quickly put all our worries to rest. Her flexibility, attention to detail, and genuine care turned our South African honeymoon dreams into reality. Plus she was quick to respond!

She worked within our budget, tailored everything to our preferences, and made planning our Cape Town + Safari adventure so effortless and fun. Every moment of the trip exceeded our expectations—we seriously can’t stop raving about it!

We’ve already started recommending Indigo Safaris to friends and family who are considering a safari. If you’re on the fence—just do it. Booking with Ines was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our honeymoon. We’re beyond grateful!!!

The Best Decision We Made for Our Honeymoon – Indigo Safaris Was Incredible!

South Africa – 6-day Eastern Cape Safari & Cape Town

Michele was wonderful to work with. She was patient with our large group while we changed dates and plans. She was able to guide us through the process and ultimately planned the BEST vacation for us. Every detail from transport, to celebrating my Mom's birthday at every turn, to accommodations, tours and more was clearly thought out! I would highly recommend Michele and Indigo Safaris! You will not be disappointed.

Excellent!

South Africa: 19-day Cape Town, Garden Route & Madikwe Safari

This was my second trip through Indigo Safaris, after Papua New Guinea in August. It came about at the last minute as the coup in Madagascar cancelled a trip booked previously through another company. Christopher spring into action and put together a wonderful itinerary for a trip combining a self-drive along the Garden Route that was so much easier than I thought it would be, tours around Cape Town, and a safari to Madikwe before returning to the Cape.
The accommodations were excellent, and that was before we got an upgrade in Cape Town, the scenery so varied, and the wildlife stunning. I'm looking forward to seeing what can be put together for our next trip with more than one week's notice!

Absolutely fabulous

Makes everything for you to get the best out of your adventure!

I went on a 4 day Soussusvlei and Swakopmund tour and it was absolutely amazing. The contact with Indigo Safaris, in my case Michele, was excellent and she did absolutely everything to make the trip as memorable as I wished for.
When in Swakopmund I suggest you do the 4X4 wheel on the sand dunes in Sandwich Harbour which is the Namibia you´ve probably seen on pictures, where the dunes meets the ocean. Don´t miss this!
Travelling from Swakopmund to Sossusvlei was an adventure itself with the changing landscape along the road.
Also the guide we had, Kennedy, was great and a very good and safe driver.
I definitely recommend this tour and Indigo Safaris!
