This private house is located on a wildlife and golf estate, Kiligolf, situated halfway between Kilimanjaro International Airport and Arusha, and offers a great place to start or finish your safari. It is perfect for couples, families or small groups travelling together. Each bedroom is en suite with a private verandah and lounge. Welcome to Tanzania! When you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the town of Arusha. The safari begins tomorrow!

Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

Situated in northern Tanzania, Tarangire National Park is a breathtaking safari destination famed for its dramatic landscapes and exceptional wildlife. After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to Tarangire National Park. The transfer will be a great way to see some of the Tanzanian countryside as you go.  After lunch and some relaxation time at the lodge, you will head off on your first shared afternoon game drive.

Northern Serengeti, Tanzania

Located between the Central Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to the north, the Northern Serengeti is a remote African wildlife wonderland. The vast, rolling savannah of the Northern Serengeti, is known as the hub of the great migration. The landscape is characterised by vast stretches of savannah interspersed with acacia trees and riverine woodlands. Wildlife can be seen along the banks of the Mara River and visitors can view the annual spectacle of the half a million migrating wildebeest. Commonly spotted wildlife include: a multitude of plains game such as buffalo, zebra, gazelles, impala, giraffe as well as lion and leopard. Visitors can look forward to bird watching, hot air ballooning, game safaris and guided bush walks.

Day 4

Day Notes:

After your last morning game drive and breakfast in Tarangire, you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your flight into the famous Serengeti.

The Serengeti is home to the great wildebeest migration, which makes it way around the park throughout the year. As such, you will stay in different camps of the same standard depending on which time of year your visit.

  • From January - March 2025 & 1 December 2025 - March 2026, you will fly to Ndutu Airstrip and stay at Lemala Ndutu
  • From April - May 2025 and November 2025, you will fly to Seronera Airstrip and stay at Lemala Ewanjan
  • From June - October 2025, you will fly to Kogatende Airstrip and stay at Lemala Mara

Once you land at the appropriate airstrip, you will be picked up in a specialised 4x4 vehicle and have game drive to camp.

Our safari in Tanzania was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived at Serengeti National Park, everything was fantastic — the camp was perfect, and the experience exceeded our expectations.
