The best time to visit the Skeleton Coast, with cooler temperatures, minimal rainfall, and greater chances of wildlife sightings inland as animals gather around waterholes. The fog banks are also more consistent during this time, creating the ethereal scenes the coast is famous for.

☀ November to April (Green Season)

The landscape inland turns greener and birdlife becomes more active, though temperatures rise and the Skeleton Coast remains cooler due to the Atlantic current. This is a good time for photographers looking for dramatic contrasts and fewer other travellers.
