Everything you need to know

Some experience is helpful, but not required. Your group leader will offer guidance, and routes are chosen to suit a range of skill levels.

Groups typically include 6 to 12 travellers, spread across several vehicles, creating a fun, sociable experience without feeling crowded.

For camping-based safaris, tents, mattresses, and most cooking equipment are provided. You’ll receive a detailed kit list in advance.

Absolutely. Many solo travellers join our Group 4×4 Safaris and find it a fantastic way to meet others and explore Africa safely.

A reasonable level of mobility is useful, especially for setting up camp, but the pace is flexible, and drives are not physically demanding.

In major towns and some lodges, yes, but expect limited or no signal when in remote areas—part of the charm of the adventure!
