Discover Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo is one of Uganda's smallest national parks, but you should not judge it by its size. It is ideally situated halfway between Kampala and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, making it an ideal stop over for those driving to see the gorillas instead of flying.

Why Visit Lake Mburo National Park?
Where Gentle Hills Meet Wild Horizons
There are 14 interconnected lakes inside the park, which takes its name from the largest of the lakes. This wetland system helps to support a large variety of animals and especially birds. Lake Mburo is the only park in Uganda where you can find impala and is rumoured to be home to the largest population of zebra in Uganda. And with a little bit of luck, you might even be able to see a leopard here.
If you do stop here, don't miss out on the horse back safari experience, as there are not many places where you can approach game on horse back and it is absolutely fantastic.
