Day Notes:
Touchdown at Windhoek Airport, where you will be met and taken to the depot to collect your rental vehicle. Once all the paperwork is signed, you will head to your hotel in Namibia's Capital City. We recommend having a delicious dinner at Joe's Beerhouse.

Day 2 - 4
Desert Quiver Camp uniquely combines modern self-catering accommodation with comfort and style. Conveniently located a mere 5km from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei, the inspiring scenery characterised by granite outcrops, spectacular views and roaming wildlife will captivate your senses.

Day Notes:
Drive into the Namib desert today, home to some of the world's biggest sand dunes. Having endured arid or semi-arid conditions for roughly 55–80 million years, the Namib may be the oldest desert in the world and contains some of the world's driest regions. Your lodge is situated just outside the gate of the Namib-Naukluft National Park.

Day 3
Day Notes:
Head into the Namib-Naukluft National Park to explore its treasured sights, including Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei, Dune 45 and Sesriem canyon. To get to Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei, you will drive 66km along tar road to a parking lot. The tar road ends at this point and it is another 5km to the dunes. There is a 4x4 shuttle which you can catch to the dunes, or you can walk.

Day 4 - 6

Day Notes:
Drive through the desert to Namibia's largest coastal town, Swakopmund. Be sure to stop at Solitaire on your way and get a slice of apple pie. You can also stop at the lagoon in Walvis Bay to see if any flamingoes are on show.

Day 5
Day Notes:
Swakopmund is Namibia's playground. There are lots of activities here to keep you busy. Go sandboarding, quad biking in the dunes, or sky diving for the more adventurous. The truly brave can go for a swim in the freezing Atlantic Ocean. At the end of the day, you can sit on the promenade and watch the sunset over the ocean.

Day 6 - 8
Nestled on an outcrop of Dolomite Rocks under a canopy of Mopane and White Seringa Trees, Toshari Lodge is just a 20-minute drive from the Andersson Gate, on the edge of the magnificent Etosha National Park. This makes it the perfect destination for day trips into Etosha, whether on your own or expertly guided by us.
Day 6
Day Notes:
Today, you head to Namibia's biggest and best wildlife reserve, Etosha National Park. You can stop off at Cape Cross Seal Colony on your way. Your lodge is situated not far from the entrance to the park. Depending on your arrival time, you can head into the park for an afternoon game drive.

Day Notes:
After breakfast, you can head into the park and spend the whole day exploring and game-driving around the park, looking for the animals. The rest camps inside are open to the public, and it is possible to stop at them for lunch and to make use of the swimming pool. The rest camps also have good waterholes, which are worth checking out.

A fantastic organized tour in Namibia
We visited Namibia for 10 days on a tour that included a shuttle, lodges, and some excursions. Everything worked out perfectly. Comfortable shuttles with friendly and helpful drivers, always on time. Lodges with all the comforts, friendly staff, and beautiful excursions.

I went on a 4 day Soussusvlei and Swakopmund tour and it was absolutely amazing. The contact with Indigo Safaris, in my case Michele, was excellent and she did absolutely everything to make the trip as memorable as I wished for.
When in Swakopmund I suggest you do the 4X4 wheel on the sand dunes in Sandwich Harbour which is the Namibia you´ve probably seen on pictures, where the dunes meets the ocean. Don´t miss this!
Travelling from Swakopmund to Sossusvlei was an adventure itself with the changing landscape along the road.
Also the guide we had, Kennedy, was great and a very good and safe driver.
I definitely recommend this tour and Indigo Safaris!

Indigo Safaris drew up a fantastic itinerary for our travels through Namibia. It was evident from the first day that they had placed us in the best camps and resorts in every place we visited. Namibia – 9-Day Northern Circuit Adventure – Private Self-Drive
ndigo Safaris and Michele Addison delivered the best trip we could have imagined. Namibia was on our bucket list and clearly a step into the unknown. There are many travel companies offering tailored safari packages but from my initial enquiry Michele listened, advised & adjusted the itinerary to meet our needs. Michele then provisionally booked all the accommodation and vehicle rental - she was able to send a detailed PDF itinerary with insightful descriptions of key places to visit and accommodation. The plan worked like clockwork - starting and finishing at the same lovely guesthouse in Windhoek which was a nice way to round off the trip! Michele was always on hand via email and WhatsApp with rapid response to enquiries we made whilst travelling around. Our holiday was phenomenal and Michele was fabulous. Her attention to detail, responsiveness and understanding of what we wanted from the trip was fantastic, helping us with additional suggestions and ideas to make things even better.
Unfortunately we needed to postpone our holiday due to a family bereavement and she was so accommodating and adaptable with the changes, making sure every detail was perfect.
