Why Visit Mexico?

Where Ancient Spirit Meets Modern Soul

Guadalupe Island (Mexico) was the top destination for great white shark encounters. This small volcanic island located in the Pacific 240 kilometres (150 miles) off the west coast of Mexico's Baja California peninsula outperforms both South Africa and Australia with shark-seeing consistency and watching conditions. Only Guadalupe Island can boast shark viewing in 40-metre visibility and the bay where submersible cage diving operations take place has a population of 94 great white sharks, guaranteeing unforgettable encounters. Unfortunately, the Mexican government has stopped issuing permits for this.

East Coast Diving

The East is home to the amazing Cenotes, Playa del Carmen, and Cozumel, all in the Yucatan.

West Coast Diving

West coast Mexico diving is either in the Sea of Cortez from La Paz, Cabo Pulmo, or Cabo San Lucas, or out in the Pacific.

West Coast Orcas Mobulas

More commonly known as mobula rays, this iconic species gathers in the tens of thousands (not a misprint!) twice a year, with peak season from May to July, in the waters from Cabo San Lucas around to north of La Paz.

West Coast Grey Whale Watching

San Ignacio lagoon is home a one of the largest Grey whale calving sites on the planet.
